The Trust Performing Arts Center brought an impressive first season last year, featuring Grammy-nominated artists and internationally renowned speakers. Launching this September, The Trust is excited to publicly reveal their 2015-2016 line-up of outstanding musicians and lecturers in this guest blogpost by Michelle McGovern.

September 3, 2015 - Soprano, Jennifer Aylmer, and baritone, Thomas Meglioranza with pianist Tim Long . Kicking off The Trust's season with a bang, New York opera stars Jennifer Aylmer and Thomas Meglioranza collaborate with Timothy Long to present "An American Song Book". Watch them perform "You Need Song"

October 4-5 11-12, 2015 - Opera Lancaster. Opera Lancaster will collaborate with the outstanding Lancaster Bible College Chamber Singers as they present a fully-staged production of Henry Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, a tragic love story based on Virgil's Aeneid. Join us and experience what is sure to be a powerful and passionate performance.

November 19, 2015 - Angel Romero & Aeolus Quartet. Known as the Spanish maestro of the guitar, Angel Romero is loved by his audiences and critics as a talented soloist and conductor. Joining him will be the award-winning Aeolus Quartet, a string quartet with cutting-edge work. Watch Angel play "Canarios"

December 11, 2015 - Pianist, Xun Pan, with soprano, Heidi Shannon. Multiple award-winning Chinese-American pianist Xun Pan and vocalist Heidi Shannon will join forces to present a benefit concert for SWAN, an organization which provides free music training and mentoring for children whose parents are incarcerated. Come witness this sparkling duo and celebrate Christmas at The Trust!

February 13-14, 2016 - VOCES8. Touring throughout Europe, Asia, and North America, the British vocal ensemble has become one of the most loved singing groups in the world. This versatile ensemble, consisting of "Eight beautifully integrated solo voices," (BBC Music Magazine) promises to deliver a captivating performance - what could be better for your Valentine's Day weekend? Watch VOCES8 perform.

March 3, 2016 - CAG Artist. The Trust Performing Arts Center is pleased to once again partner with New York City's Concert Artist Guild to present a captivating evening of music with one of their prestigious young artists. The artist for this year's concert will be chosen from the winners of the 2015 Concert Artists Guild International Competition, held in October.

April 14, 2016 - Sybarite5. Sybarite5 is the first string quintet selected as a winner of the Concert Artists Guild International Competition. This ambitious group has an eclectic repertoire that promises to "satisfy your inner rockstar and your secret Mozart," (Arizona Daily Star) and has transformed the perception and performance of chamber music in the United States. This engagement of SYBARITE5 is funded through the Mid Atlantic Tours program of Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation with support from the National Endowment for the Arts.
