J.P. McCaskey High School Presents...
Power, ambition, greed...it's just another day at the office. From the authors of Guys and Dolls come one of the most delightfully irreverent musicals of all time. A satire of big business and all it holds sacred.
How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying follows the rise of J. Pierrepont Finch (Clay Verkouw) who uses a little handbook called "How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" to climb the corporate ladder from lowly window washer to high-powered executive. While on his journey, he must tackle such familiar but potent dangers as the "compliant company man" (Evan Graver), the "backstabbing co-worker" (Lorenzo Simpson), the "too big for his britches" boss (Luke Harnish) and, of course, his true love Rosemary (Tara Horn).
How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying melds wit, comedy, and romance together to perfection with songs such as ; Coffee Break, Been a Long Day, Rosemary, and Brotherhood of Men. This musical is based on the book How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying by Shepherd Mead. Some of the other members of the case include: Phoebe Radcliffe, Katy Maurer, Yuri Benjamin, Kayla Hall and Amanda Reed.
Performances will take place Thursday, March 14 through Saturday March 16. Showtime is 7:00 pm each night in the J.P. McCaskey Auditorium. Please call (717) 291-6211 ext. 30619 to purchase tickets. Assigned seating tickets are also available at the door (if available).
